Huntington Mayor Brooks Fetters and members of the Mayor’s Advisory Council on Community Accessibility (MACCA) highlighted Disability Awareness Month by participating in a “Downtown Roll Around” in Huntington on March 31st. During the Roll Around, Amramp Huntington provided a wheelchair ramp for participants to test.

Amramp Huntington Donating Wheelchair Ramp to Abilities Abound

Amramp Huntington will be donating a ramp to the 6^th annual Abilities Aboundevent hosted by the Northeast Indiana Disability Advocacy Coalition (NIDAC), on Friday, February 27, 2015 at the Courtyard Marriott ballroom in downtown Fort Wayne. The Abilities Abound event, which won the 2012 Community Spirit Award given by the Governor’s Council for People with Disabilities, raises awareness of the accomplishments of people with disabilities. The ramp will ensure that the event is accessible to all who attend.
