Today was graduation day at Canine Companions in Orlando, FL. This graduation ceremony celebrated the completion of an education course designed to match person and dog and prepare them to work together successfully.
To make sure all of the graduates could access the stage during the ceremony, Canine Companions turned to Renee Bird of Amramp Orlando, FL to coordinate a wheelchair ramp for this special graduation ceremony. Several graduates, both human and furry, were able to cross the stage with the assistance of the Amramp modular ramp.
Canine Companions trains assistance dogs to assist adults with disabilities by performing daily tasks, to alert the deaf and hard of hearing to important sounds, enhance independence for children and adults with physical, cognitive and developmental disabilities and to work with a professional in a visitation, education or healthcare setting.
Congratulations to the graduates!
