Amramp Offers Accessibility to Huntington, IN Mayor

Amramp Offers Accessibility to Huntington Mayor During
“Week on Wheels” for Disability Awareness Month

Mayor Brooks Fetters made a visit to Pathfinder Services during his “Week on Wheels” to bring attention to Disability Awareness Month and the accessibility solution that Amramp provides.  During his visit to the North Campus of Pathfinder Services, located at 2824 Theater Avenue in Huntington, the Mayor easily accessed the building while in a wheelchair thanks to the steel Amramp ramp system.

Amramp allows for families and businesses to rent or purchase an ADA compliant, low cost, modular ramp, featuring an open mesh ramp surface. The unique, perforated steel mesh ramp surface has an open pattern, allowing moisture to drain, reducing the possibility of a slippery ice surface or mold build-up.

Amramp ramp systems are safe, sturdy and durable, can be moved and reconfigured, are environmentally friendly, and are Recyclable, Reusable, and Rentable.

Amramp offers free business and home evaluations and meet with each client to custom design a safe ramp. Solutions for each client’s needs are available in days, not weeks or months, and most installations take less than a day. Amramp, the newest division of Pathfinder Services, Inc., specializes in modular wheelchair ramps, threshold ramps, grab bars and other accessibility products, providing accessibility solutions for clients in North Eastern Indiana.

“Our ramp systems are available for rent or purchase, and provides access to homes, businesses, stages, athletic fields, churches and more,” stated Loretta Mottram, Senior Director of Business Development.  “Our steel modular ramps are made in the USA from 100% recycled and recyclable steel, are rentable and most ramps can be installed in hours,” Mottram added.
