Very fast and courteous service

When my condition and mobility declined rapidly, I was left in the difficult place of knowing I needed a ramp but not knowing for how long….maybe things would improve? AmRamp has been the best solution for me. Within a few days, I received a quote, a diagram of the proposed ramp and then just a couple of days later….the ramp. It was still winter, and in a day and a half, a foot of snow was removed and a ramp constructed, giving me the safety I needed to get in and out of the house. I was able to rent at first, and when I found out I needed it permanently, was able to apply 75% of those rent payments towards purchase. Having those options made all of this so much easier, and I now own a ramp that is strong, safe and will be easy to remove if I ever need to without leaving any marks on the home. They even returned once spring came and the snow was gone to secure landscape fabric under the ramp and then to touch up the ramp after I had completed the purchase. I am so very pleased with the service I received and am so grateful for the product that I received. Lorne at Amramp Alberta installed the wheelchair ramp for my business. He was AMAZING!!! I cannot say enough great things about his service, knowledge, level of professionalism and kindness. He knew exactly what he was doing. He was able to come within a couple of days of my first contact phone call to him. He assessed my place and prepared a detailed cost estimate within a couple of days and was able to start my wheelchair ramp project a few days after that. Lorne was very communicative with me and was accessible via text and phone. If he couldn't answer my phone call or text right away he got back to me within a couple of hours or less. He knew what permits were required from the city and obtained them on my behalf. He also showed me lovely pictures of past projects he had completed where he was able to preserve some of the foliage and flowers around the wheel chair ramp, which is what he did for me as well. He completed the installation of my wheel chair ramp in a very timely manner and always did what he said he was going to do. If he said he was going to show up at a certain time, he showed up at that time. If he was going to be a few minutes early or late he called to let me know. His cost estimate was very precise and my wheelchair ramp ended up being the price he quoted it to be. I love my wheelchair ramp. It is sturdy and as attractive as a wheel chair ramp can be. He gave me written instructions on how to take care of my wheel chair ramp and since installing my ramp he has still been just as accessible by phone and text when questions have arisen regarding my ramp.

They returned our call right away, were able to accommodate a last minute request and were easy to contact when we needed. Our event was a huge success and having the ease of mind of easy pick up and take down was so appreciated!

What an amazing job Lorne and his daughter did building a ramp for my husband to be able to come home from the hospital. It is such a strong high quality product we couldn't be happier. I inquired about a ramp for my home. The resonse was quick and a representitive came and gave me a quote which I accepted. Work began within the week and the ramp was installed quickly allowing much needed access for my wife. Excellent work and service. I highly recommend Amramp.

Because of the layout of our house it was impossible for me to get inside and up the steps. I was in the hospital for over a year after my leg amputation. I found out about Amramp through my social worker. We contacted them and it wasn’t long before they came out to assess my property and give me different ramp options. After having the ramp installed at the back for several months we decided to get a larger one in the front instead which made it very accessible for me to get into my house. It did not take them long to set it up and the rental and payment plans were veryreasonable. They give you the option of putting part of the rental payments towards the purchase of the ramp which we were finally able to do last month. We are so pleased with Amramp and their understanding, thoughtful service. We not only recommend them, we urge people with similar needs as ourselves to contact them as a first choice for ramp access to your home. Thank you Amramp!

I want to thank Amramp for their excellent service and product. The wheelchair ramp that they installed for us worked very well. We really liked how they designed it to fit in our backyard and to wrap around the tree. We also valued that they followed the safety guidelines for the incline. The ramp was very useable in winter as it seemed to shed the snow immediately and did not become icy. Norm and Barbara were very personable and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this company.

Ever since breaking my back, my wife has worried how she was going to manage making our house accessible & safe for me. Thankfully Norm has been quick to answer her questions and even went above and beyond to remove a shrub so the ramp could be installed prior to my day pass!
