With an important "can't miss" appointment coming up, only half of the chairlift was delivered to Amramp. Mark R. went to the carrier's distribution center (the week before Christmas with all the other packages) and spent over 2 hours looking for the pieces so the chairlift could be installed the day before the appointment. Even the crew that came to install it were impressed! We can't thank you enough, Mark!

UPDATE January 2020:
We needed some ramps to get to the car easier from our basement (raised ranch). Mark came out after 5:00PM the day I called, and the next day we had them to use. Thanks Mark, and thanks to your intrepid installers C.J. and Vinnie!

Excellent and quick process. We needed a ramp inside as well as outside the house. Mark had great ideas on how to make it work best, and the installers were great guys.Mark even came back to add no slip rugs so the little dog wouldn’t be scared of using the inside ramp.

My identical twin sister who lives alone fell down her basement stairs and fractured her femur leaving her wheel chair bound for at least 5 weeks, maybe longer as we are 76. She is convalescing with me in my one floor house but there are two stairs down to the garage. I worked for two days trying to either buy or build a ramp with no success. My experience with Amramp has been super. Starting with a phone call with Mark Rafferty based in Portland, Me. Follow up in person assessment with CJ who covers all of Maine and then a very efficient installation by Steven Firth and Ramon Ramos. Each one of these guys was so easy to work with. The ramp is Not cheap but when you rent a ramp, they install snd then remove with a minimum of 3 months rental. Very impressed with the sturdiness of this ramp. Highly recommend

My husband had a stroke in the middle of winter, when we had 2 feet of snow on the ground. When the hospital was ready to discharge him to our home for outpatient treatment two months later, we were concerned about how to get a ramp installed, as, even though most of the snow had receded, we still had a heavy snowbank in the front. Within a week of my calling Amramp, a representative came to the house, took measurements, and gave me several options for building a ramp, one of which was to install it inside our garage with enough space to park our car beside it! They also offered a low annual cost for winter service if we decided to have it installed outdoors, ie snow removal and repair in the event of snowfall, ice or snowplow damage. The overall cost was less than many other companies we had looked into. We decided to go with the option of installing it inside our garage. The down payment was included in the overall price. A week later, two very courteous and efficient young men came to the house and within a few hours, a ramp was installed! The ramp is sturdy and obviously built to last, and we could not be more pleased with the result. We opted for the rent-to-own option, but after a few months of use, it is obvious that my husband will be wheelchair bound for a long time, so we decided to pay it off in full. Since the installation, I have had several interactions online and via phone calls with their financial representative who promptly and courteously answered all my questions regarding the rental fee and pay-off as. However, if we had decided to continue renting, we could have discontinued at any time, and they would have come and taken it away for us. We chose to pay it off to minimize our debt load. Their representative assured me that at any time we had any questions or concerns even now that it is fully paid for, I am welcome to call them and they will come to the house to address anything I need. However, this ramp is determined to be secure and in good service for 30 years, so other than the delight of hearing the rep's pleasant voice on the phone, I doubt that I will need to contact them again. I wholeheartedly recommend Amramp!

Great company and a great product. My 98 y/o mother loves the ramp they installed which allows her to enter and exit our home.

Following a "freak" accident, we needed wheelchair accessibility to our home on short notice for, perhaps, an extended period. We feared the cost of a permanent ramp as well as living with it when the need was over. Our care coordinator suggested Amramp. With both a rental and purchase option and prompt professional service it was the ideal solution. It served us well through the winter and was more attractive than a ton of pressure treated wood. This entire experience with AmRamp from start to finish has just been flawless. Mark Rafferty is one of the most responsive business men I have dealt with
in a long time. The crew and installers were pleasant, polite, efficient with good senses of humor. While I hope my husband will recover such that we won’t need this ramp permanently, but it’s comforting knowing we can purchase it if we do need to keep it. This could have been very stressful but this is a truly delightful and professional company.

When my sister smashed her femur over a year ago, she came to live with me after her surgery. The hospital said it was imperative that we have a ramp to be able to get my sister out of the house while she was in the wheelchair. Mark and his team responded quickly to our need and we rented a very sturdy ramp for over a year.
