Scott and Chris are brothers who share a deep commitment to helping others and making a meaningful impact through their work with Amramp.
Scott spent much of his career in the optical industry, holding leadership roles where he managed regions and multiple stores. After retiring in 2019, he sought a new venture that would combine business with purpose. His path took an unexpected turn when he and his brother Chris discovered Amramp. The company aligned perfectly with Scott’s desire to make a difference while building a sustainable business. In November 2020, Scott moved to Houston, Texas, to open Amramp’s operations, providing mobility solutions and home modifications to families and institutions in need.
Chris, meanwhile, had been on a personal journey of caregiving. After selling his CPA practice in Florida in 2013, Chris retired and devoted himself to caring for his wife of 32 years, Lyn, who had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. Over the next 11 years, he worked alongside healthcare professionals to ensure Lyn’s well-being at home until her passing in 2022. During this time, Chris also became a Certified Franchise Broker, but the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic slowed his business activities. Seeking a way to continue his mission of service, Chris found Amramp, a company that would allow him to help families and caregivers in a meaningful way. Although Amramp’s Florida territory was unavailable, Chris’s brother Scott was in a position to take on the Texas market. In April 2022, after Lyn’s passing, Chris joined Scott in Texas to help lead Amramp Houston together.
Outside of Amramp, both brothers are actively involved in their community—Chris is a regular participant at his church, enjoys playing guitar and singing, and stays physically active. Together, Scott and Chris are passionate about being responsible caregivers, offering practical solutions to those in need while building a meaningful business rooted in service and care.
