Join AMRAMP at the 2019 HCBS Conference

The National Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Conference is being held in Maryland this year. This annual event brings together policymakers, administrators, and more from the local, state, and federal levels. These professionals are crucial in managing HCBS programs that help millions of people every year.

HCBS provides opportunities and services for Medicaid beneficiaries in their own home and communities. This is incredibly important work to people who don’t want to have to move to institutions when faced with the mobility problems that often come with aging. As of 2014, more than half of all Medicaid long term care spending went specifically to home and community-based care services. This is a widespread and vital field, and it is crucial that the professionals stay up to date on all the latest information and innovations.

At this year’s conference, the future of HCBS will be at the forefront. There will be intensives in a wide range of topics, such as:

  • Information & Referral/Assistance (I&R/A) Intensive
  • Medicaid 101
  • Aging & Disability 101
  • CMS Intensive
  • And many, many more!

Amramp will be on site to demonstrate accessibility products that drastically improve the quality of life at home for limited mobility people. Keeping people active and independent, and in the communities where they have built their lives, is the mission of HCBS. Attend the conference to network with the professionals and problem solve for the future!
