Joel is the new franchise owner for Amramp Chicago & Northern Illinois. Joel takes over from Bill and Kathy Woods, who have faithfully served the region for over 20 years.
With a strong passion for making a positive impact, Joel brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He is dedicated to continuing Amramp’s mission of creating inclusive spaces and improving accessibility for individuals and businesses across Chicago, Northern Illinois, and Northwest Indiana. Under his leadership, Amramp will continue offering essential accessibility products and services designed to enhance mobility and independence.

Though new to Amramp, Joel has a distinguished management consulting and corporate finance career. A serial entrepreneur and committed community volunteer, he currently serves as a mentor with SCORE, a nonprofit organization that provides business mentoring to entrepreneurs. A lifelong resident of Chicagoland and a proud father of three, Joel is dedicated to improving the quality of life for his neighbors and the broader community.
